Halloween, Sewing, and Candy Mountain

Halloween is my favorite holiday. And Halloween is usually a social holiday, but this is not how 2020 works. So, I am trying to plan a fun, somewhat lonely halloween and squeeze what joy I can in before the endless holiday family gathering guilt trips begin.

So I took off the Friday (Oct. 30th) and Monday (Nov. 2nd) for a 4-day Halloweekend. I have a pumpkin beer. And a growing mountain of candy (damnit Charlie). And plans for Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, etc. marathon.

And I have a TikTok problem… I can’t stop. So many good short videos. So many. Also with fun Halloween stuff.

And then there are my classes, the sewing and drawing ones. My sewing projects, if I can manage, are all to be halloween fabric. Many of my drawings are halloween themed. And the sewing machine lives in the living room now.

Life is shitty. Stay safe. And take care of yourselves. We can get through this, probably.
